Furthermore, you must either use the basic PostScript 35 fonts (Courier, Helvetica, Times, Palatino, etc.), or you must install soft fonts. Most HP LaserJets can print in PostScript.

If you want absolutely consistent results between the PDF and the printed output, then you must use a PostScript printer driver for the printed output, and you must have a PostScript printer to print to. (WordPerfect is NOT like Windows - it uses fonts built-in to the printer when those fonts exist, as they do on your HP printer. WordPerfect will always change the fonts when this happens. When you run the Bullzip PDF Printer, you switch to a PostScript printer. If you are using Univers, then you are using one of the fonts that is built into your HP printer (or HP-compatible) printer. WordPerfect formats the two fonts slightly differently - so it is WordPerfect that causes the changes that you are seeing in layout. The BullZip PDF printer does not have the Univers font it has the Helvetica font which is almost but not quite identical.

Read the WP manual for instructions.Īt least part (perhaps all) of the problem that you are seeing is caused by the fact that you are using different fonts when editing from the fonts that must be used when creating a PDF. If the A4 page size is NOT available, then you must create it. Is the page size A4 or US Letter? If the page size is US Letter, then you need to use Shift-F1, Initial Settings, Initial Codes, and then in the Initial Codes window, use Shift-F8, Page, Page Size, and insert the Page Size for A4 press F7 until you exit. Margins correct in print preview with Bullzip PDF Printer driver active in WP margins NOT correct in PDF output. Javier: Please explain exactly what is happening now. In all cases I have installed and uninstalled the macro and the base fonts on numerous occasions. Arabic WP51 works well, but I can not create pdf with new types of letters.
WP51+ worked well in the macro before upgrading and installing new base fonts, but now have problems with the top and bottom margin. In short, the page margins have never worked in Spanish WP51. The documents inPdf appear in a blank document or a window that displays error of Ghostscript. However, I can not create pdf documents with the new fonts installed. In this case, the documents in pdf are created correctly, with correct page margins (as happened also in WP51+ before the changes), but when the document has a base font from the ones built in Bullzip. On the other hand, I have also English WP51 with Arabic writing module. Everything works fine, but the top and bottom of the pages do not work out in WP51 (already happened before) and now either in WP51+. I installed the latest version of the macro and new base fonts. A few days ago I updated the macro Bullzip in WP51 and WP51+ from the Web "WordPerfect for dos updated" and followed the advice on this page to add new base fonts. This problem I've always had with WP51 (Spanish version), but not with WP51+ (English). Pdf documents are not respecting the upper and lower margins of the pages. In Print Preview, the text display correctly, with correct page margins. The printer selected with shift-F7 is Bullzip PDF Printer.
